Meaning house at the river mouth or gateway, Whare Puwaha is just steps away from Kinloch Wilderness Retreat but still offers a world of seclusion, guests will enjoy all the comforts of having the house to themselves with the amenities of Kinloch at their fingertips.
Ideal for a small group break with uninterrupted lake, river and mountain views, sumptuous beds and private living areas. There's a superking ensuite bedroom, a queen bedroom, separate bathroom with bathtub and shower, separate toilet, and a 5th guest can be accommodated on a rollaway bed in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped and there's plenty of seating for soaking up the views.
With the privacy of being separate from the wider accommodations, Whare Puwaha is a luxury base to enjoy all that Kinloch has to offer. Guests are welcome to partake in the restaurant, hire the e-bikes, e-motorbikes and fishing rods, join a yoga class or hire the yurt, or relax in the wai area (spa pool and infra-red sauna).
If guests need assistance there are staff nearby during the day and only a phone call away in the evening.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations more than 30 days prior to arrival incur no cancellation fee. More than 30-7 days prior to arrival a 10% cancellation fee will be charged to cover administration costs. Less than 7 days prior to arrival, 100% of the total value of the booking will be charged
Bookits non-refundable fee of NZD20.00 also applies to all cancellations regardless of the supplier’s cancellation policy.
Where you are entitled to a refund the refund will be made to the same credit card that you used to confirm the booking.
For amendments of bookings additional charges or a refund may apply depending on the nature of the booking amendment.
If you make a booking using a discount code you will not be able to use that discount code on any subsequent booking amendment. Amendments will be made using the normal price of the product being amended.
