Cathedral Cove Cruises

We are a husband and wife team operating a our tour boat company from Whitianga. We bought the business 5 years ago and move to Whitianga from Auckland not long after. I have had 30 plus years of diving and fishing in the region and have lived on or near the water all my life. Purchasing Cathedral Cove Cruises was a long held dream to be working and sharing the sea. My wife Lesley supports  me greatly in the business along with working as the local Audiologist.  Our tours depart the Whitianga wharf,  we will cruise by the magnificent Shakespeare Cliff, visit the islands and sea caves  including Cooks Blowhole and the breathtaking Orua Sea Cave. Cruise by the magnificent Cathedral Cove and swim with the fish in the Marine reserve. Observe the unique geology of the coastline from the safety and comfort of our vessel Ocean 2 an ex coast guard rescue boat. We aim to position the boat for the best scenic viewing and photo opportunities. We always keep in mind comfort and safety of passengers to ensure the best experience on the water. Snorkelling and swimming are fantastic fun. Life jackets provided for less competent  swimmers and snorkels and mask are available at n/c.
